Fistles of Snow

*Note* We aren't quite sure what the title of this movie is, as we saw it nearly a year ago at the Seattle Children's Film Festival. All we remember is that it was good!
This movie was about these little scenes that made my mom cry a little bit, because they were all about friends and family and stuff. Some of the scenes were in a different language. There were subtitles on the screen.
The most interesting part of this movie was at the end when the snowmen were having a snowball fight. But, they didn't use the snow from the ground--they used themselves! They used so much of themselves that they died! The walrus that was watching them was kind of sad, too. He took one of the snowmens' hats and put it on his own head and waddled away.
There was another movie at this film festival called "The Secret of Kells." Some parts made me jump! (You can read my review of that movie in another spot on my blog.)
Another movie in the film festival was about this guy that went on a ship, and had to leave his family at home. He almost got killed, but he ended up coming back to his family. His son was surprised to see him when he came home, because the dad didn't really look the same. He was a little bigger, and shorter, than his son remembered.
One more movie was about a girl who touched a doll, and she somehow ended up inside of the doll. She then was seeing things from the doll's point of view. She was shaking the doll to try to get out, but she couldn't. Every kid that looked in the window got stuck inside of dolls. The dolls were cursed. If you touched them, you ended up inside of them.
That's all for today! Thanks for visiting "Cinema with Sarah." See you later. Bye!
